Exchanging the Pump Seals and Seal Wear-in Procedure
Exchanging the Pump Seals and Seal Wear-in Procedure
When Seals leaking, if indicated by the results of the pump test (check both pump heads individually!)
Tools required 3-mm hexagonal key
4-mm hexagonal key
1/4 inch wrench
Parts required # p/n Description
2 5063-6589 (standard) or 0905-1420
(for normal phase application)
Seals (pack of 2)
1 5022-2159 Restriction capillary
1 Disassemble the pump head assembly of the leaky pump
head (see “Removing and Disassembling the Pump
Head” on page 146).
2 Using one of the pistons carefully remove the seal from
the pump head (be careful, not to break the piston).
Remove wear retainers, if still present.
